Antique Large M.O.P & Sterling 1 Decade First Communion Rosary Chaplet w XXR Silver/Gold Medals

All Antique and Vintage Rosaries that I list come from my private collection. They are genuine antiques – older than 100 years – or genuine vintages – from 30 to 100 years old. All are in perfect condition and still very much usable. They are unique and a real pleasure to collect or still use.

Presented here is a very unusual one decade Catholic Rosary/Chaplet made of large, rarely seen, Mother-of-pearl beads and Sterling Silver with 2 very rare Sterling medals with Gold inside and a large sterling and MOP crucifix.

Beads are Mother of Pearl, the cross is sterling Silver and M.O.P all dating from the same period estimated at the end of the 19th Century

The 2 Medals are as follows :

- Near the Cross, a Sterling Medal with a Gold Chalice and Eucharist commemorating a First Communion.

- The other medal is also a sterling silver medal with a gold Standing Mary of Lourdes

The Cross is a large sterling and MOP cross of dimensions : 70 x 35 mm

The Ave beads are 13 mm in diameter and the Pater beads are sterling capped and are 16 mm in diameter, which is quite unusual for MOP beads.

This is a very rare and unusual item, extremely pleasant and for everyday use.
