Presented here is a Sterling cloisonné medal of St Aloysius Gonzaga. It is hand painted direct on Sterling, made Cloisonné , Enameled and then Kiln fired frame.

It is hallmarked for sterling.

The hand work is extremely fine and the medal is in perfect condition for its age.

It is a very fine and nice item to wear.

Dimensions of the medal are : 30 x 20 mm without the bale -- Its weight is 3.80 grams.

The chain is NOT included with the medal.

In 1926, he was named patron of all Christian youth by Pope Pius XI. It is very probable that this medal dates from this period.
Owing to the manner of his death, he has been considered a patron saint of plague victims.
