Presented here is a 1920's medal of the Virgin of Carmel. It is hand painted on porcelain, then Kiln fired and inserted in a Sterling Silver Frame.

It is a souvenir from the Spa in Ubernaga in Spanish Biscay. Unusual and very rarely seen.

Hallmarks and 800 Stamp for Silver. The sterling carat of 800/1000 which was the standard at the time.

The hand work is extremely fine and the medal is in still very good condition for its age.

It is a very fine and nice item to wear. Beautiful design of the frame and vibrant colors.

Dimensions of the medal are : 35 x 25 mm without the bale -- Its weight is 5.33 grams.

The chain is NOT included with the medal.
