100+ Years Art Nouveau Agate & Sterling Silver Catholic French Rosary Unused

All Antique and Vintage Rosaries that I list come from my private collection. They are genuine antiques – older than 100 years – or genuine vintages – from 30 to 100 years old. All are in perfect condition and still very much usable. They are unique and a real pleasure to collect or still use.

The item in this listing has the following characteristics:

This is a French Rosary dating from the early 20th Century of typical Art Nouveau style - in never used, perfect condition

1) 7.5 mm average dia. Vintage round agate beads for the Ave Marias and 13 x 12 mm average 27 sided faceted large agate beads for the Pater Nosters. This is quite original and not seen.

2) The beads are definitely hand made in view of the small variations in size and shape.

3) Sterling Silver cross 55 X 35 mm with the bail. Please look at the picture closely. Definitely Art Nouveau with a stylized Iris flower on each extremity . The center also in Sterling Silver also has two Iris flower flanking the cross in the middle. Both have exactly the same matching design. The Cross and Center are both thick and heavy and clearly show that they have never been used. Both are hallmarked.

5. All Metal parts are Sterling Silver.

6. Total length : 52 cm (21 in.) -- Total weight : 59 grams. - This is a large item. It will easily go over the head to be eventually worn.

This item is exceptional and of great rarity, it is over 100 years old and still in great condition. Very heavy in Sterling with great Art Nouveau design.

Most probably a unique item.

This item has surely been passed on through generations - it is a great heirloom.
