1920's Catholic Rosary 15 Decades Opaline Glass and Bone w Silver - Rare

All Antique and Vintage Rosaries that I list come from my private collection. They are genuine antiques – older than 100 years – or genuine vintages – from 30 to 100 years old. All are in perfect condition and still very much usable. They are unique and a real pleasure to collect or still use.

This is a special Rosary made in the 1920's. It has 15 decades instead of the usual 5.

It is made in a very typical Art Nouveau Style.

This rosary has the following characteristics :

6 MM diameter round faceted milk white Opaline Glass Beads for the AVE MARIA's.

6.5 MM round carved Blood red Bone Beads for the Pater Noster's

Center and cross are also made of Carved bone with a blood red color. The cross is 7 x 3 cm

The Chain is Silver.

Total length : 113 cm - Very long due to the 15 decades.

The 15 Decade is made to pray a decade for one of each of the Mysteries : 5 Joyful, 5 Sorrowful and 5 Glorious Mysteries, as follows:

The Five Joyful Mysteries :

The Five Glorious Mysteries: 1. The Resurrection (Faith) 2. The Ascension (Hope) 3. The Descent of the Holy Spirit on the Apostles (Zeal) 4. The Assumption (Happy death) 5. The Coronation of Mary as Queen of Heaven. (Love for Mary)
