Presented here is a RARE medal of the Sacred Heart of Jesus dating from the 1930's period.

The medal is hand painted on porcelain, then Kiln fired, Enameled and inserted in a 10 k gold frame at a later date.

It is two sided : on the obverse The Sacred Heart of Jesus and on the reverse Mary crowned with Crowned Jesus Child holding a scapular : lady of Mount Carmel

The medal is in pristine condition and it is sold WITH the chain in the picture. The chain is in Gold plated Sterling Silver and is new. The chain is 2.33 gr in weight and 50 cm ( 20 in.) in length.

The frame is in 10 K. Gold and is gold content has been tested. The bail is Vermeil, like the chain.

It is a very fine, highly rare and extremely nice item to wear.

Dimensions of the medal are : 20 x 13 mm or 0.8 x 0.5 in. ( excluding bail) - weight of the medal alone is 1.30 grams
