Two sided Medal Mary Lady of Fatima Hand Painted Miniature in 14K Solid Gold Frame - 1930's Rare

Presented here is a rare porcelain medal of our Lady of Fatima, dated 1920 - 1930. It is a hand painted miniature on porcelain, then Kiln fired and inserted in an 14 k solid gold frame.

Origin of the miniature is very probably Portugal. It was framed in the last 10 years with a 14K gold frame and the bail has the same Gold content. It is hallmarked.
The medal is two sided : on the obverse Mary of the Fatima Apparition to the 3 shepherd children and on the reverse : "Na. Sa. Do Rosario da Fatima" meaning " Our Lady of the Rosary of Fatima".

The medal is in excellent condition and it is sold WITH the chain in the picture. The chain is not solid gold but Vermeil - Gold plated Sterling Silver.

It is a very fine and nice item to wear.

Dimensions of the medal are : 20 x 13 mm or 0.8 x 0.64 in. ( with bail)

Weight of the framed medal alone plus bail is 2 grams, mostly 14K solid gold.
