2- Tassel : Sterling Silver

3- General : 99 oval beads and separators of rondelles -- bead size from 11 x 7.5 mm to 7 x 5 mm.

4- Total length : 55 cm incl. of tassel.

This is an antique shah Maghsoud 99 bead strand which is at least 100 years old. Stones are first quality citrine which have particular glow and color that shah maghsoud amateurs will immediately recognize.

The strand was restrung anew and added with a Sterling Silver tassel .

Shahmaksoud gem stone name in Turkish is Panzehir "meaning cure to poison" refers to the fact that citrine was thought to have the property of being a cure to snake poison. Its beads are strung in symmetrical increasing size from 11 mm to 8 mm , like a necklace and this is particular of the shahmaksoud strands in general.
