Stations of the Cross Unique Rosary all Vintage MOP & Sterling w 19th Cent Cross

All Antique and Vintage Rosaries that I list come from my private collection.
They are genuine antiques – older than 100 years – or genuine vintages – from 30 to 100 years old.
All are in perfect condition and still very much usable. They are unique and a real pleasure to collect or still use.

The very special and unique item in this listing, which is totally hand made by me, has the following characteristics:

1- The beads are all vintage beads dating from the 1930’s - from my private collection –
2- They have been newly mounted in chain form using sturdy sterling silver wire.
3- Bead size is : 12 x 9 mm
4- The 14 Stations of the Cross medals are in Sterling Silver and this is seen nowhere else !
5- I have had these copied in Sterling Silver from brass medals taken from a vintage French rosary dating very probably from the second decade of the 18th century.
6- The rosary ends with a XIXth century Mother of Pearl and Sterling cross with typical Art Nouveau style.
7- Size of the cross is : 80 x 35 mm or 3.2 x 1.4 in.
8- Total weight of the rosary is 82 grams
9- Total length is 85 cm or 34 in.
10- All metal parts are sterling silver

This is a Unique item in all respects :

- beads are perfect, large, vintage and of a rare shape and cut
- Medals of the Stations of the Cross are Sterling Silver – not found anywhere else.
- The cross is large, unique and of great beauty.
- Imposing size and weight
