XIXth Century Gold and Sterling Medal Pendant of Hand Painted Miniature of St. Therese with Sterling Chain - EXCEPTIONAL

Presented here is a very exceptional item : A hand painted miniature of St Therese in a gold and silver pendant. The miniature is signed on the upper left hand side of the picture,in red. The work is very finely executed with precision and neatness. The frame in open work silver and gold ( vine leaves on each side) is a real beauty very well and neatly made.

The medal dates from the third quarter of the 19th century.

It is in pristine condition.

The long sterling silver chain is included with the pendant.
