Vintage Papal micro mosaic cross - crucifix PAUL VI , 1975, Rare

Vintage MICRO MOSAIC CROSS - CRUCIFIX with Papal figure.

Pope is PAUL VI who was pope from 1963 to 1978.

This is an exceptional item with extremely fine work with a colored photo of Pope Pius XI in the center.

Papal crosses with Paul VI representation are quite rare and this is a superb example in a large cross.

On the 4 edges of the cross are pictures of the 4 major Basilicas of Rome :

1- St Peter's Basilica of the Vatican

2- St Paul's Basilica

3- St Mary Major Basilica

4- St. John Lateran Basilica

The cross was made circa 1975 for the Jubilee Year.
