1950’s Silver Plated Metal Stylized Cross Crucifix -By Jean Despres

This is a crucifix, in hammered metal, hand made and with a silver heavy plating. It is not signed but is a known model of famous French artist Jean Despres.

There is no Hallmark but was tested for Silver content.

It is a heavy piece weighing 51 grams – 1.65 troy oz. and measuring 11.2 x 8.5 cm ( 4.5 x 3.3 in) all inclusive.

It may be worn with a chain with a great effect and it may hung on the wall also.
