Early 20th Century Carnelian and Sterling Silver Catholic Rosary with Carnelian Center and Crucifix - Rare Collector's item

All Antique and Vintage Rosaries that I list come from my private collection.
They are genuine antiques – older than 100 years – or genuine vintages – from 30 to 100 years old.
All are in perfect condition and still very much usable.
They are unique and a real pleasure to collect or still use.

The item in this listing has the following characteristics:

This is a Rosary of French origin which may be estimated to be from the 1920’s.

I). 8 mm average dia. round carnelian beads for the Ave Marias and sterling capped 9 mm for the Pater Nosters also round carnelian beads. Separated from the Aves by a sterling silver chain.

II). Each Pater is capped by two Sterling bead caps as may be seen from the pictures.

III). The cross as well as the center are finely carved Carnelian. The corpus and INRI sign on the Cross is Sterling Silver. It is very rare to see a center as well as a Cross carved in the same gemstone as the beads.

IV). Total length : 48 cm (19.2 in.) -- Total weight : 54 grams.

This item will easily go over any size head to be worn.

This is a big item, it is rarely seen and is nearly a 100 years old and still in excellent condition.

Heavy in Sterling with rarely seen carnelian center heart shaped and cross all hand carved. A real Heirloom.
