Antique Lourdes Coral and Sterling Catholic Rosary in Sterling Silver Mini Book shaped Box - Unique -

All Antique and Vintage Rosaries that I list come from my private collection. They are genuine antiques – older than 100 years – or genuine vintages – from 30 to 100 years old. All are in perfect condition and still very much usable. They are unique and a real pleasure to collect or still use.

The item in this listing has the following characteristics:

The rosary is made in France in the early 1900's. It is scarce and in pristine condition.

The Sterling Silver Book shaped Box is of another origin, probably American. It is Halmarked 925 for Sterling plus other marks as may be seen in the picture. Very prbably American.

1- 3.3 Antique Dark Salmon Genuine Mediterranean Coral round hand cut beads for the Ave Marias as well as for the Paters.

2. All Metal Parts are sterling silver : chain, center and cross. French hallmark of the boar ( used 1838-1962)

3. Sterling cross 25 x 15 mm ( 1 x 0.6 in) with written on the obverse : Souvenir de ND de Lourdes

4. The rosary is sold with its box.

5. Total weight : 4.7 grams for the rosary alone!! A real Miniature. The Box is 19.8 grams

In pristine condition in spite of age. Very small item extremely practical to carry all tthe time, vey well preserved in the box.
