Virgin Mary Enameled Vintage Gold Plated V. Large Pendant w Chain

Presented here is a very remarkable Gold plated Very Large pendant medal of Mary in profile very likely inspired by works of the famous engraver Penin . The pendant is probably dating from the 1930's with rare and unique features as follows :

a) It has a diameter of 46 mm ( without bail ) which is quite a large size for a round medal. Please look at picture when held in hand.

b) Its weight is a heavy 36 grams. It is in Pristine condition. It is originally gold plated and has been 24 K gold re plated in 2022. This is why it has the new aspect.

c) it is sold together with the very long 80 cm - 32 in. special chain. The chain is also vintage and dating to the 1920/1930 period. It is very high quality gold rolled and in New condition.

d) The pendant is made using the hot enamel technique allowing tthe enameling to be highly brilliant and long lasting.

e) The pendant is high relief and made in France .

Pictures have been taken so that the beautiful enamel effect is well seen as well as all other characteristics.

Deep blue color of enamel is well apparent.
