Antique MOP & Sterling Silver Highly Exceptional Catholic Rosary w Many Rare Antique Medals 1888

All Antique and Vintage Rosaries that I list come from my private collection.
They are genuine antiques – older than 100 years – or genuine vintages – from 30 to 100 years old.
All are in perfect condition and still very much usable. They are unique and a real pleasure to collect or still use.

The very exceptional and unique item in this listing, which is totally hand made by me, has the following characteristics:

1- The beads are all vintage beads of a New Old Stock dating from the 1920’s - from my private collection – Quality of the beads is exceptional as may be seen from close ups.

2- They have been newly capped and mounted in chain form, using a sturdy sterling silver wire and bead caps.

3- Ave MOP bead size is 8.5 mm diameter round beads. The Pater beads are mop 10.5 mm beads, capped with sterling silver bead caps. The separators are also sterling, double faced, with Mary on one and Jesus on the second.

4- The parts of chain used are from a handmade old chain dating from the 1950’s.

5- The medals are antiques and originals, all in sterling silver, dating from early 20th Century. This first communion medal has a Gold Chalice and is monogrammed and dated 11 June 1899. All medals are a mix of gold and sterling silver. The medal with the Gold virgin is dated 4 June 1916 and Monogrammed with A and R

6- The rosary ends with a XIXth century Mother of Pearl and Sterling crucifix in excellent condition.It is monogrammed with the lettres G and C and dated 31 May. 1888.

8- Total weight of the rosary is a heavy 112grams !!!!! This rosary is very heavy in Sterling silver.

9- Total length is 76 cm or 30.4 in. !!!!

10- All metal parts are sterling silver. More than 65 grams ( 2.1 troy ounces) of sterling silver content in this rosary !!
