Exceptional 18K. Gold and Amethyst Rosary in Guilloché Sterling Box 1930's High Rarity

They are genuine antiques – older than 100 years – or genuine vintages – from 30 to 100 years old.
All are in perfect condition and still very much usable. They are unique and a real pleasure to collect or still use.

This is a 5 decade Catholic Rosary of French origin dating from the 1930's

It is made of AA quality faceted Amethyst beads and 18 Carat solid gold : hand made beads, chain, center and cross.

The Ave and Pater beads are AA quality 5mm Garnet beads and the Pater beads are 6 mm.

The cross and the Center are hallmarked with 18 K French gold marks of the eagle's head and the chain has been tested.

Total weight of the rosary is 12.8 grams - of which 6 grams are 18K gold.

Total length is 34 cm. It will not go over the head to be worn.

The rosary is presented in a Sterling silver Guiloché box . It is hallmarked and is Dutch - imported manufacture. Stamp Z-II
The Box is rectangular with rounded edges with dimensions of 42x25x18 mm in lxwxh and weighs 27 grams.

The rosary is of the 1930's and the box, of a later date, is a perfectly suitable container to protect the rosary and complete the set

It is especially charming and completely hand made. The way the beads and cross have been made is clearly seen from the close ups.

This rosary is a top notch item in superb condition as well as its box. It is an extremely attractive, very seldom seen and a unique opportunity with an excellent price.
