Presented here is a very fine item, rarely seen : A heavy sterling silver French medal with typical art deco style, with a chain of original design , of St Christopher ( Christophe in French) holding Infant Jesus.

The chain is entirely hand made, with a very original design witnessing the Art Deco period

The medal pendant is thick and heavy and with a very nice design.

This is a very seldom seen item which carries a lot of attraction and beauty.

It is in pristine condition.

The sterling silver chain is offered TOGETHER with the pendant. It is a vintage chain entirely hand made.

Diameter of the medal is 35 mm - ( 1.7 in)excluding the bail - and 40 mm with the bail.
Weight of the medal alone is a heavy 19.10 grams.
The chain is 56 cm ( 20 in.) long and 24.20 grams in weight.
