Impressive Sterling Open Work Two Sided Medal of Mary w Sterling Chain 1950's

Presented here is a very fine item, rarely seen : A sterling silver medal with very fine open work and double sided with chain of our Lady Mary and the Sacred Heart of Jesus, French made in the 1950's.

The chain is entirely hand made, but although fitting perfectly is probably not of same period.
It is round and with two sides. On the reverse the Sacred heart of Jesus.

This is a very seldom seen item which carries a lot of attraction and beauty..

It is in pristine condition.

The sterling silver chain is offered TOGETHER with the pendant. It is a vintage chain entirely hand made.


Diameter of the medal is 42 mm - ( 1.7 in)excluding the bail -
Weight of the medal alone is a heavy 9.5 grams.
The chain is 50 cm ( 20 in.) long and 13.8 grams in weight.
Total weight : 23.3 grams .
