V. Rare French Shell & 18 K Gold Pectoral Cross Napoleon III w chain - Pristine

A Unique pectoral cross from the Napoleon III era ( around 1860) made of Shell and inserted with 18 Karat gold , with a large 18K Gold hallmarked Bail - and a modern chain.

The cross measurements without the ring are 72 x 52 mm or 2.9 x 2.1 inches.

Weight of the cross is 4.12 grams with the bail, and the gold weight is about 3 grams of 18K Gold.

It is a very nicely sized item that is worn as a pectoral cross with exceptional effect.

It is in an excellent condition for its 150+ years of age.
