Vintage Miraculous Medal of the Madonna Hand Painted Miniature in Gold plated Frame w chain- V.Rare

Presented here is a very special thus rare porcelain Miraculous medal of Lady Mary. It is a hand painted miniature on porcelain, then Kiln fired and inserted in a gold plated frame.

Originally this medal was a pin that was issued by the Apostolline Association for the Madonna ( Italy). But the previous owner has taken away the pin at the back and soldered a ring so that it may be worn as amedal and had it gold plated.

So this makes it a unique item as it is the only one as a medal and gold plated.

Origin of the miniature is very probably Italy and the frame has been tested for gold plate.

The medal is in pristine condition and it is sold WITH the chain in the picture. The chain is also Gold plated . The chain is not of the same period but much newer.

It is a very fine and nice item to wear. With its very special shape it is quite unique.

Dimensions of the medal are : 30 x 17 mm or 1.2 x 0.7 in. ( excluding bail)

Weight of the framed medal and chain is 6 grams and the chain is 52 cm long. ( 21 in.)
