1920's Exceptional 18K. Gold and Garnet in 19th Cent. Sterling Box High Rarity

They are genuine antiques – older than 100 years – or genuine vintages – from 30 to 100 years old.
All are in perfect condition and still very much usable. They are unique and a real pleasure to collect or still use.

The item in this listing has the following characteristics:

This is a 5 decade Catholic Rosary of French origin dating from the 1920's

It is made of AA quality Garnet beads and 18 Carat solid gold : hand made beads, chain, center and cross.

The Ave and Pater beads are AA quality 5mm Garnet beads and the Pater beads are 6 mm.

The cross and the Center are hallmarked with 18 K French gold marks of the eagle's head and the chain has been tested.

Total weight of the rosary is 18.9 grams - of which 8 grams are 18K gold.

Total length is 34 cm. It will not go over the head to be worn.

The rosary is presented in a Sterling silver box with an elegant flower design. It is hallmarked and is of French design and manufacture
The Box is round with a diameter of 45 mm and a height of 21 mm and weighs 27.5 grams.
It has a bail and may be worn on a chain.

The rosary is of a later date and the box is a perfectly suitable container to protect the rosary and complete the set

It is especially charming and completely hand made. The way the beads and cross have been made is clearly seen from the close ups.

This rosary is a top notch item in superb condition as well as its box. It is an extremely attractive, very seldom seen and a unique opportunity with an excellent price.
