1930's Exceptional 18K. Gold and Crystal Rosary in Sterling Box Very Rare

All Antique and Vintage Rosaries that I list come from my private collection.

They are genuine antiques – older than 100 years – or genuine vintages – from 30 to 100 years old.
All are in perfect condition and still very much usable. They are unique and a real pleasure to collect or still use.

This is a 5 decade Catholic Rosary of French origin dating from the 1930's

It is made of Bohemian Crystal beads and 18 Carat solid gold : hand made beads, chain, center and cross.

The Ave and Pater beads are 5 mm faceted Bohemian Crystal of high glow.

The cross and the >Center are hallmarked with 18 K gold marks and the chain has been tested.

Total weight of the rosary and medals is 12.45 grams - of which 6.2 grams are 18K gold.

Total length is 33 cm. It will not go over the head to be worn.

The rosary is presented in a Sterling silver box with an open work elegant flower design. It has an origin the far Eastern French colonies - very probably Indo China , Vietnam today.
It has a hallmark in Vietnamese .
The Box is 20 x30x30 mm ( 0.8 x 1.2 x 1.2 inches ) and weighs 22.4 grams.

The box is of a later date and origin and is a perfectly suitable container to protect the rosary and complete the set

It is especially charming and completely hand made. The way the beads and cross have been made is clearly seen from the close ups.

This rosary is a top notch item in superb condition as well as its box. It is an extremely attractive, very seldom seen and a unique opportunity with an excellent price.
